Staking GS & esGS for rewards

GS/esGS tokens can be staked for 30% of the protocol fees earned distributed in ETH, esGS incentives and MP points which act as a boost on the ETH staking APR. GS and esGS earn rewards at the same rate in the staking contract. In the interface, users can "Stake" their GS or esGS. Confirming a "Stake" transaction will deposit the GS or esGS from the users wallet into the staking contract to earn ETH, MP points and esGS incentives.
Compounding will stake your pending Multiplier Points and escrowed GS rewards. This will increase the amount of rewards you receive from staking.
Claiming will transfer earned esGS rewards and ETH rewards to your wallet.
If you choose to compound your rewards, you can unstake them anytime from the esGS staking vault.
Multiplier Points (MPs) reward long term stakers without inflation or principal risk. The MP points accrue continuously every block at a 100% APR rate with a 100% point cap on the total GS and esGS staked. For example, 100 GS staked for one year would accrue 100 MP points. Multiplier points can be staked for more ETH rewards at the same rate as GS/esGS.
If a user hits the MP cap, they will still continue to earn MP points but they will be “inactive” until they stake more GS or esGS.
Total MP Points = APR * (staked GS + esGS) * t where t is time in years
The “Boost Percentage” in the UI represents how much your fee APR in ETH is boosted by MP points.
The APR formula for staking is:
Staking APR = (ETH rewards + esGS emissions annualized) / (Total GS + esGS staked) * 100
The “Boost Percentage” in the UI represents how much your ETH Staking APR is boosted by MP points.
Boost Percentage = 100 * Staked Multiplier Points / (Total Staked GS + esGS Staked)
Clicking the "Unstake" button will withdraw tokens from the staking contract: the GS or esGS staked and will burn the respective Multiplier Points according to the MP burn function below.
MP Points Burned = (Unstaked GS or Unstaked esGS) / (Total Staked GS + esGS) * MP Points
To unstake, simply click the unstake button and choose how much GS or esGS you would like to unstake. The MP points will be burned automatically.
If you are currently vesting esGS, you may not be able to unstake all of your GS as it will be reserved for vesting. If you would like to withdraw all of your GS in this case, you must first withdraw from the vesting vault then unstake the GS. Note: This will end your vesting schedule and all unvested esGS will be returned to your wallet
